In autumn 2022, Ænergy submitted an application for the establishment of a solar park in the Linnebjerg area along Ilskovvej, north of Favrholt.
The application has subsequently been processed by Ikast-Brande Municipality, where both administration, committee and city council have had the project assessed.
These assessments have subsequently resulted in an initiated local planning process.
In this process, the project's impact on i.a. environment, nature and wildlife be assessed, just as citizens, businesses and other stakeholders can contribute their opinions and submit consultation responses at the end of the process.
With the current timetable, the local planning process is expected to be completed at the end of 2024 and the establishment of the facility is expected to start during 2025.
