In autumn 2022, an application for the establishment of a solar park in the Kroghøj area north of Vildbjerg's industrial quarter was submitted.
The application has subsequently been processed by Herning Municipality, where both the administration, committee and city council have had the project assessed.
These assessments have subsequently resulted in an initiated local planning process, which runs parallel to close citizen involvement.
As a city, Vildbjerg has distinguished itself by embracing the need for new climate measures, particularly by implementing and anchoring green development across local associations and associations. The overall program is called Vildbjerg Green City and originates from visionary, energetic and local private individuals and companies.
Ænergy appreciates the initiative, and has therefore been in close dialogue with various actors in the program throughout the project.
Ænergy estimates the start of construction in the summer of 2024.
